Can I use A Records instead of using DNS

You can point your domain to us via A Records but we would not recommend to use it on multiple domains. The problem with using A Records is that the dns of your registrar will be shown as the nameservers in a whois check. This can bring a lot of different footprints.  One example of the footprints this will create is that if you have multiple domains on, lets say, Godaddy you will have multiple domains with the same Godaddy namesever, thus leaving a footprint.
